About the Book

Sara’s abusive marriage has finally ended. She now must get out of the Kansas City area before Paul, her ex-husband, finds out she is pregnant with his child and tries to prevent from her leaving the city. She is sitting at her favorite spot in the city, taking one last look before she leaves this city forever. She has money from the sell of their house in the bank and a new job waiting for her in Colorado.

She is ready to leave for the train station when her ex-husband shows up and points a gun at her head. He tells her he knows about the baby and that they will be remarried as soon as possible. Sara is terrified of this man; the last thing she wants is to remarry him.

Suddenly, Sara is transported onto a spaceship. She has been asked to marry one of the men from their planet that is in a different galaxy than Earth. She must decide if she wants to go back to Earth and marry her ex-husband or marry a stranger and got to a far off planet to live the rest of her life.

When she asked when the wedding is suppose to be, she is told that the wedding is to be immediately. She won’t be meeting the groom until she is standing at the alter next to him. Can she marry a man she never seen nor knows anything about? Her choices are either go back to Earth to Paul or to go with them and marry an alien. Will she make the right decision for her and her baby?

About the Author

I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. I have two children from a previous marriage and in 1990; I married my second husband after only 2-1/2 months of courtship. At our wedding, it was just my daughters, Sandy and Megan, Dan and I. We were married in Harry S. Truman’s Courtroom in Independence, Missouri. Dan is my soul mate and my inspiration for my stories. He is the man I have always dreamed of being my husband.

In 1992, I started back to college. My plan was to finish my Associate Degree, which I did in 1996, just twenty years after graduating from high school. Instead of stopping, I continued on. I received my BS in Accounting in 1998 and 2004; I graduated from Park University, in quaint Parkville Missouri with my Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

I have loved to read as long as I can remember. As a young child, my mother would take me to the library and I would check out a stack of books at a time. In our home, we have several bookcases filled with Dan’s and my books. Now that I’m finally done with taking classes, I want to write love stories.
