Being extremely grateful for their forgiveness, he not only turned his own life around, but he became determined to help transform the lives of everyone he touch with his salvaged soul.
Billy was forgiven for his heinous act by the members of the victim’s family. After sixteen and a half years on death-row, teaching and preaching love and forgiveness which he received to his fellow inmates and to hundreds of folks around the country. His own life was spared seven hours prior to the execution.
At the impassion pleas of the victim’s family and the unexpected intervention of Mother Theresa, Billy’s death sentence was commuted by the Georgia Board of Pardons and parole to life.
