Pivot Point Terra 1

            I tried several times to rid myself of the pests and parasites that had infected me, but even though I succeeded partially I could never get rid of them all at the same time.

            They multiplied and changed so fast in so many different ways that I could not keep up. By the time I figured out how to get rid of one kind an other different kind of critter had evolved that was not influenced or effected by my actions.

            That is when I came up with the idea of the screen. At first it was to keep the prying of the parent and the siblings to a minimum while I tried to destroy the invader.

            Then when the compliments from my siblings came in, on my new hew in color, I kept the screen to see if I could get even prettier.

            Surely enough the evolution of the small infectious forces of small inconsequential life forms continued. I became obsessed and protective spurred on by their ability to change and to multiply.

            However soon larger life forms started to appear. They did nothing for my looks. So I thought of ways to rid myself of them.

            One time one of the chunks from the fifth sibling, at least I suspect that it came from there, landed on me and helped me out greatly in my quest. It wiped out a whole mess of small and large creatures.

            I keep taking the parent’s advice and try to bring nice hot cleansing and sterilizing substance up from my inside as often as possible. Still it does not seem to be enough.

            Shaking parts of myself gets rid of some of the pests to. I have also split my cooled outer self several times, with the idea of dividing and conquering. That did not work to well either. At times I still slide some part of my cooled outer self a ways apart or make parts of me collide. The upsets the parts of water that cover me in great abundance. The agitated water then rushes off in all directions raking havoc in the land areas that surround it. That is good because that is where most of the two legged pests live. But that is not good enough either. 

            Now however I think that I have found the perfect solution. It took me quite a while to figure out that the newest crop of pests that crawls around on my outside and burrows to some extent deep into my inside to change my appearance to suit themselves, has been hiding under the screen that I inadvertently erected a while back to keep the parent body from snooping on me.

            Well I will fix them. Actually it was their own activities that made me aware of the possibilities. All I have to do is to complete the job that they have started and are still doing so nicely.

            By weakening or removing that screen I will let in more of the parent body’s rays. That will raise the radiation level and my outside temperature which will kill off a lot of the green stuff that makes the noxious corrosive gas that they breath.

            It will also kill the plants and animals that they consume. I have started already to spout more of my warm inner stuff to the surface. The ash that wells up in that process will keep the warmth from escaping and keep the parent’s light down to a minimum.

            That will assist me in melting the ice on the poles. The rising water will flood most of the low lands bordering my oceans.

            If I change the weather patterns too, I can move the ash to where it will do the most good. In the process I can whip up the waves in the oceans and drown some of them or smash them with the junk that they built on my outside. Yes every little bit helps. I do not believe in wasting my efforts.

            Yes I think this time I will be successful. I might even move my cooler outer cover over the hotter inner core once again. That will freeze some and cook the other ones instantly.
