About the Book
This work is intended to give the reader a topic for thought each day of the year. Each page contains a different subject in order to allow the reader time to consider each subject fully. The main focus of this book is to inspire the reader to seek a better understanding of life by means of increasing ones knowledge.
Most people are far too busy to contemplate every individual action made on a daily basis, this books goal is to give people the tools they need to make better decisions for themselves each day. The

This book is perfectly at home in any place the reader has for time to read and think. It is perfect for the car, briefcase, workspace, bedroom, bathroom, or any place where the reader feels at ease.
This book was originally written and published in 1936 as “A Minute A Day”, the author, L.L.Castetter, was by all accounts a man driven to learn as many things about life as possible in order to live a more productive and fulfilling life. I have revised, edited, and added some of my own writings in order to bring it up to date as well as to reflect the books original desire to add value to life.
About the Author
I know little of the life of the original author L.L.Castetter, research showed that he was born in
A friend that showed me the book in the late 1990’s wanted to see about getting a newer copy as his had been in his truck for some years and was now beat up and missing it’s cover. I was impressed and was also trying to locate a copy for myself as well.
I found out that very few copies had been printed originally, there were only three other copies to be found and they were in school libraries. The only way I can ever make good on my promise to provide Dave a new book, and allow more people to read it is to re-print the book.
I had become unable to work at my life long profession which was as a Lithographer, more
commonly known as a printer, due to the onset of Multiple Sclerosis. The illness while being some-thing one would rather not have, does allow the person afflicted more free time, the catch is you lose your energy! It has taken me the better part of six years, but a promise is a promise.
