Bishop Leroy C. E. Newman

Born into an extremely religious family whose faith transcended into five generations of baptized believers, Bishop Leroy Newman''s involvement in ministry began in the early 60''s; his interest in youth development has long since become ministry development. As Pastor and General overseer of the friendly church of the Apostolic faith, Inc, much of his time and energy has been in both secular and Christian education. A graduate of York College in NY and Feaman College in NC, he holds a PHD in the Sociology of Religion.

One of the areas where Ministry is weakest is in personal development an area where he has committed much of his time. He is married with three sons who are directly involved in ministry; his wife, Mattie and two of his sons are preachers, and the third is an anointed musician whose ministry is a powerful gift of grace.

Bishop Newman has been the impetus for the development of many ministries, pastor and church leaders; he has assisted in building Christian and motivating believer to their make their vision reality as well as served as facilitor of edifying leadership conferences. For more than 35 years, and still serves as an educational director of Global Business Institute, in Far Rockaway, New York.
