About the Book

This book is a collection of random thoughts and ideas that have been put on paper and a couple of stories from the author’s life.  It is hoped that as you read this, you will enjoy it as much as the author has in the writing of it.

Most of the poems were written after the author moved to Florida and reflect his life there.  If you have enjoyed this book, you have Florence to thank.  It was her encouragement and support that made this book possible.

About the Author

Tom Moeller is a retired letter carrier in his early eighties.  He has numerous positions in several different industries that included railroad, construction, restaurants, aluminum windows, light-weight concrete, the US Postal Service, and county emergency services.

He is active in the International Lions Club and is currently the President of Lake Wales, Florida Club.  He has been awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship.  He is also a licensed amateur radio operator.

He married Gladys Louraine in 1949 and had five children, three gilrs and two boys.  He now has thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Tom joined the Writers Group in Nalcrest, Florida, when he moved there from Oskaloosa, Kansas.  After his wife passed away from heart problems.  He is living there with his current wife, Florence, playing a little golf and writing an occasional poem.  He has been awarded the International Award of Merit by the International Society of Poets.
