About the Author

Mary Ragusa-Ahrens is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. A former police officer, she now devotes her energies to her family and her writing. Mrs. Ragusa-Ahrens is past editor of the Bull Run Civil War Round Table newsletter, the Stone Wall . Her varied writings have appeared in the Stone Wall , The Washington Times, and Whispers from Heaven, as well as in several poetry anthologies. She and her husband currently divide their time between the rolling hills of Virginia and the peaceful Pennsylvania mountains.
