About the Book

Makeup mistakes happen often; however, they should always happen in the house and never out in public. Have you ever wondered why some women get it right and others don’t?   What did you do with all those skin care products and cosmetics you brought but never learned to apply correctly?  Did you make wrong color choices and found out in the daylight while looking at your reflection in the supermarket window? Whew!  How embarrassing.  I bet you did not have one tissue in your bag to wipe it off.  Has your friends and family mentioned that you look pretty without makeup?  If you can identify with any of these questions, you are in the right place reading the right book.

Facial Accents will easily guide you through simple skin care and makeup techniques that will highlight your facial features instead of adding on to them.  Our follow-up program allows you to access us through emails for critiques of your makeup application.  There is also something that no other makeup book has… stencils!!!  That’s right, makeup stencils for the face because we know that when it comes to contouring your nose, highlighting cheekbones and applying eye shadow, stencils are the only way to keep everything in place like the pros.

This is an exciting time of exploration in your life.  It’s a time where you are exploring highlighting a new you.  We are so glad that you chose this book to help you through this chapter of your life.  So, let’s get started…

About the Author

Belinda has been working in the beauty/fashion industry since 1978 as a model, actress, makeup artist, New York television correspondent for Good Day Live, producing the Ms. Big Beautiful Doll pageants along with many fashion shows, plus creator and former editor-in-chief for national beauty, fashion and entertainment magazines such as Hype Hair, 2 Hype and Try It Yourself Hair.  She has always implemented skincare and makeup workshops in all her projects so that women can learn how to take care of their skin properly and look fabulous.

“Learning to do it yourself is a major accomplishment.  It’s fun to go to a department store and have the person at the makeup counter apply your makeup.  However, the fun stops when you try to duplicate the same look at home.  It is such a joy when I see women display a sense of pride when they look in the mirror with confidence after applying their own makeup.  When you look good, you start feeling wonderful and all of a sudden great things start to manifest in your life.  Don’t take my word for it…bring this book home and start taking care of you today!”
