About the Book

Sienna Henderson and her eleven siblings were born into dire poverty and came of age in a home dominated by a heavy-handed, but devoutly religious mother and a part-time father caught up with his own personal demons. At eighteen, she finds love and the opportunity to escape the oppression of her painful childhood, but that leads to a tragic end.

Sienna strives to cope while raising her four-year-old daughter and three younger sisters.  She helplessly watches as her siblings’ lives spiral into a vortex of drugs, alcohol, and incarceration.  She ultimately meets a wealthy attorney/ business executive and experiences a romance like none other in her life.  It seems she has found the love and stability she has always longed for…or has she?
