Redemption is always ongoing in the life of a child of God, due to the fact that we are saints that are in need of constant direction for our souls and the feeding of our spirits through our trusting in Him. Our seasons yield deliverance from desolation, afflictions, troubles, and the uprising of evil against our destiny and love for Christ. Blessing his name and keeping his praise in our mouths during these times ensures that our soul makes its’ boast in Him. No flesh shall glory in His presence, and our daily seasons in the progression of life cultivate this fact into our beings, as a truth that we can and will not live without. Seasons ensure that we seek him and find his overwhelming desire to keep a nation purified through grace and the knowledge that He is good and worthy to be imbibed and digested into the semblance of a man that not only trusts God, but forever displays a broken heart and contrite spirit toward the one who makes our hearts draw near to and pant after Him. God is good, and blessed is the man that trusts in Him. Seasons enable us to dwell in the land (the will and heart of God) through that trust, as well as be fed by the refined knowledge and understanding that we obtain as a result of them after their completion and the straining of unrelated and unhealthy residue. Seasons enable the Lord to “bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy justice as the noonday” (Psalm 37:6), while giving you the testimony that “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread” (Psalm 37:25). They enable us to inherit the land and dwell therein forever (Psalm 37:29). We are taught during these seasons the importance of having mouths (doorways) that only open to the goodness of God, whether to receive it or let it out to the hearts of men. We learn that our mouths know how to feed many and are a wellspring of life, springing up unto everlasting life to those who are fed by its’ fruit. We learn our importance to the kingdom and purpose of God during these times, as well as our need for a Savior and Friend. Seasons are our time for distinction and promotion within the house (heart) of God, and this happens to his glory daily. We are so blessed to be given this honor of knowing him and learning to see Him as Jehovah Shammah, the God who is there. “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into various trials, knowing this, that the testing of your faith worketh paitence, but let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking nothing” (James 1:2-4).
Seasons teach us that God is the health of our countenance and the restorer of our souls. “Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts; all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the Lord will command his loving kindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life” (Psalm 42:7-8). Prophetess Premissa Acoff is called to the healing ministry and has been prepared by God to function in this anointing through various roles within the Church and world system. She has been a Mental Health/Substance Abuse Therapist/Case Manager and worked in the Human Services Field in various professional roles for over 11 years. While working in the Church and private sector of employment, she learned the necessity for sound biblical teaching in the area of healing in the mind, will, emotions, and spirit of a man.
