Light weight and skinny
I could tell by his feet
Maybe six-one tall
Little pinpoints of kindnesses
They ushered the way to a Kazakhs’ home
A flat block in
They slept in the living room
I was offered the only bedroom in the house
Guests were treated in a special way
The floors were hardwood
Topped with a lustrous brown and beige paisley carpet
I marveled at the ceiling of carved wood
Etched designs by his uncle from
