VERY PAINFUL FEELINGS
To have someone to leave you is a very harsh feeling
To have to endure pain is especially hard when you’re already dealing...
With frustration, loneliness or depression
That only adds on to the fake expressions
That you pretend daily
Knowing that you’re hindered and in bondage and will do anything to feel free
Is it true that love is supposed to make you feel hurt?
And is love supposed to make you feel as worthless as dirt?
Because you can be with someone for years
And still have to endure the common fears
Of being deceived...
Or facing the fact that any moment that person could take off and walk out of the door
For it really hurts to know that you’ve been done wrong
And it really hurts to know that your strength has been taken and you’re no longer strong
Leaving you helpless and in pain
Making you feel that you’ve lost it all and you have no more to gain
Making you feel like you’re about to go insane
Or making you feel like there was no today and there will be no tomorrow
Constantly making you feel and wonder about your pain and sorrow
Because you know that you love and have feelings for this person
And you know that you’ve been taught a lot of unwanted lessons
So how do you get right back where you started from?
Why, Where, When, How come?
How did you end up in this hell, this horror?
How did you end up here?
How and when did you accumulate so many tears?
How is it? Why is it? Why are you allowing yourself to feel this way?
Why is there a price for love that has to be paid?
What really is the price for such?
Who do you have to pay it to and how much?
How much does it cost for true happiness?
Without the tears, without the pain, without the stress!
These questions I have to ask myself
Because I want to know why and what caused me not to want any help
When it comes to wanting to get over this guy
Who made me ask everyone but him “Why”

It is also written to give a positive signal and encouragement to its readers that no matter what they’re going through or facing, they can make it through. It’s an overall encouragement containing reality situations and examples of life to either improve or be a positive direction for everyone’s lives. In the Midst of Love and Desires Phase II will also serve as a ministry to the hearts of ones who hurt and suffer from let-downs and disappointments, and feel like they have no other alternative but to feel alone in their situations and circumstances. Each poem is a divine relation to the every-day life situations that stirs up all types of feelings and emotions. Chaka is a talented writer who has brought out her talent to write all of a sudden. She is the writer of poetry and short stories. Chaka began her writing endeavor in her last year of high school after winning her first national poetry contest. Chaka uses her ability to write to express her feelings, her thoughts and her observations of others’ feelings. She also uses her writing skills to escape a lot of issues that she is confronted with.
