About the Book

Any Day Now is a collection of poems about the triumphs and tribulations of everyday life. In the first section titled Spirit, the author reflects on the challenges of worldly issues. In the second section titled Love, she reveals her thoughts on the unyielding power of love, lust, pain, and devotion.  In all, Any Day Now will leave you contemplating questions that are skillfully woven into each poem.

About the Author

In her first published literary work, Allison E. Slaughter invites her readers to consider her thoughts on an array of topics ranging from terrorism to the tangles of love.

“Originally, I did not plan on writing a book of poetry.  The topics I cover in these poems kept re-occurring in my life.  I had to find some resolve, so I’ve chosen to release my thoughts on these issues and share them with the world in the form of poetry.  It’s my attempt to address and find a resolution for issues that face us in these ever-changing, troubled times.”
