Mind Games

The only visual Anth still had was the cameras placed in the factory. He watched Tone as he looked over the fiends who worked the factory. Seeing everything was straight and nothing seemed out of the norm, he decided to take a break from the monitors and watched ESPN.

Briggs gave the signal to raid the factory and the Task Force eased their way into the building and up to the third floor. They readied the ram and bashed it against the door alerting Tone to their presence. He panics and runs for the fire escape, but more of the Task Force was coming up the fire escape. So he ran into an adjacent room and blocked the door with a huge empty safe.

Des raced down 1 & 9 trying to reach Bradley Courts as quickly as possible. He tried calling all of them again but still couldn’t get through to them. He wondered if the caller was right and Briggs had actually raided Bradley Courts and took them all into custody. He wondered about the preporations he was making to retire from the game, but knew that if Briggs was really raiding BC it would mean that he would be coming after him next.

Tone exited the fire escape and tried to creep past the officers who were unaware of his presence. As he crept past them he cracked a twig alerting them to his presence. They warned him to stop and pointed their guns at him to scare him, but Tone had other plans in mind. He equiped his twin 9s and let out four shots hitting the officers in the shoulders and knees consecutively alerting the crew to Brigg’s presence.

The shots echoed through the Courts and the Dynasty scrambled to escape to safety. Briggs called for a full out assault  and capture of the Dynasty dead or alive. At that moment, BTF kicked in all doors that they presumed was occupied by the Dynasty as a base of operation. Bullets were flying left and right as a war had now broken out between the Dynasty and Briggs’ Task Force.

Anth was so occupied with ESPN that he didn’t notice what was going on above. He scrambled to find his cell phone and noticed that Des was trying to call him for hours and returned his call to tell him what was happening.

“Yo, where da fuck you been?” Des shouted speeding down the highway.

“Yo D we have major problems. Briggs is here with a fleet of officers and he got the courts surrounded. I’m trapped in the tunnels and Wes hasn’t returned from checking on the security cameras,” Anth nervously confessed to him.

“What about Tone? Where is Tone?,” Des wondered.

“I don’t know…They shut the factory down and Tone was in it, but I don’t know if they have him or not. I can’t even tell you where anybody is right now D. I mean the shit is getting real serious right now.”

“Shit,” Des shouted getting off at the exit. “Grab all that you can carry and use the tunnel to escape to meet me at the basketball court in Valsberg Park.”

“Tru.”

Des pulled into the park and Anth took everything that he could carry and tried to baracade the door so that no one could enter the room. He grabbed all the servelance tapes and placed them in a bag and escaped through another tunnel.

Tone went toe to toe with the task force dropping them like flies left and right. When Tone tried to escape to safety, he had no idea what was waiting for him at the next corner. He was greeted with a hale of bullets that stopped him dead in his tracks lighting him up like the fourth of July. From above Melanie was forced to witness the whole senerio unfold and sniped the officers who’d shot him.

A police chopper flew in above her and spotted her on the roof. They beamed the search light on her and she shot it out putting a bullet in the pilot as well. The chopper flew out of control and crash landed in the middle of the field in BC. Melanie looked to her left and spoted a vehicle parked in the park and shimmied down the side of the building and escaped to the park through an abandoned building that was  unguarded.

Trigg, Pee, and others were trapped in building 76 trying to hold off the Force. After breif stand off, they decided to exit the building and really do some damage to the Force. Thou the Dynasty was down to their last leg they weren’t willing to give up without a fight.

Briggs stood outside of Des’ town house and smiled at the taste of victory. The Force surrounded the house and were preparing to rush in for the kill. One of the officers knocked on the front door to see if there was a response, but got no answer. Briggs gave the order to ready the battering ram and from the back yard Lt. Peterson peered through the back glass door and noticed something red blinking from within.

“On the count of three I want this damned door open and Desmond Jones captured,” Briggs shouted.
