About the Book
Suicide is a topic that many people are very uncomfortable with. However, when someone you love dies in this manner, it’s a topic that is thrust upon you and survival is something that you may not even care about. I offer a look at my personal travel through this scary odyssey. A life is a precious thing and we don’t always realize this until it leaves with a resounding crash. When my husband died I read as many books on suicide as I could find. Some were too clinical to offer any comfort and some were just too scary! I decided that a personal account would be invaluable. In today’s world suicide will touch most people in one form or another.
About the Author
Janelle M. Worley has been writing for much of her life. A high school course in creative writing was the catalyst for years of projects. In 1997 Janelle wrote a poem, “A Certain Peace”, which was published in the Poetry Guild’s anthology, “By the Light of the Moon”. Having lost her husband to suicide, Janelle had a strong need to help others in this same situation. One friend stated: “I could NOT put it down.” Adina Wrobleski, author and suicidologist stated: “I have read your manuscript and think it is wonderful. I think your book will be a superb guide to survivors and caregivers who care about them.”
