About the Book

Sammy came about due to my daughter Julianna’s request for a bedtime story.

It was her voice that inspired me to put it in writing.

Sammy is about compassion, honesty, faith, and willness to survive. It is about a boy’s life struggle in the real world, an education that we all can live without. But life is as mysterious as the world that we live in. There’s no way of telling what lives in the end.

About the Author

Albert Repunte was born and raised in Haga, Ceby City, Philippines. He fathered three daughters and three sons, and now resides in San Jose, California. He loves dancing, singing, cooking, basketball, and most of all, his family. At three years old, his parents were separated. He learned to make a living at a very young age by helping out making lechon, a family business that still exists to this day. Hardship in life is nothing new to him. It grew with him side by side. a tool that he acquired to survive. He relies on his instinct and faith in God. He is a simple man with simple wants: a better tomorrow for an abandoned child.
