About the Author
Arefeh Sarah Haghighi, was born in
Her advocacy of peace and friendship compelled her to start writing this tale in 1990 in her native language of Farsi. In 1998, her church members, volunteered to translate her story to English. This was a difficult task as the members did not speak Farsi and translating a book was beyond Sara’s command of English. Thus they used the dictionary and the slow process of translation took another two years. At the end, the story still did not possess the necessary flow as the translators had different styles of language.
Sara prayed for a resolution and eventually the help came by means of her daughter, who despite her busy schedule volunteered to give one voice the story. This final work took another two years, hence a total fourteen years later this book is available to you to enjoy.
