About the Book

This is a super collection of witty rhymes written from the viewpoint of a darling rodent called “Anon y Mouse”.

This little “mouse” tells stories of real events in the author’s life.  For instance: “Discussin’ My Concussion”, “Ode to the Jury” and “When the Roof Fell In” to name a few.  She also writes birthday greetings, get-well wishes, etc., in rhyme.

This book is clearly a joy to all from the pen of someone with a zest for life and an infectious happy heart – “Edie” Lashley-Hoover.

The perfect book to pick up for light and fun reading in rhyme.

About the Author

“Edie” Lashley-Hoover of Oklahoma City was the eldest daughter of Leonard,

a noted architect, and Mary Bailey.  She was an Episcopalian and a member of

St. Paul’s Cathedral.

She enjoyed life to the fullest and took great pride in sharing her clever rhymes with friends and family.

Besides putting her birthday greetings, get-well wishes, etc. into rhyme, Edie had a unique way of describing events in her life in rhyme!  For instance: “Anyone for a Swim?” described the trauma of the night her water pipes broke.

Jan Walker, Edie’s youngest daughter, is also a “cradle” Episcopalian.  She put this book together to honor the memory of her mother and to bring joy to others.
