GOD Is Able

The Bible tells us that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20). The key to this scripture is the power that worketh in us. We must let the power of God do the work, because as long as we are depending on our power we are sure to fail. To be truthful, we have no power without God, but it is up to us to operate in God’s power rather than believe we have the power to operate without God. God must take over every aspect of our lives.

I’ve been a believer in Jesus Christ for a long time, but until I really got serious about my walk with the Lord, I was living a vain life. I believed living saved was too much of a challenge because I had to be perfect in the sense of never making a mistake or a bad decision. That is so not true. God is able to change your life, because He changed mine but I am still striving to live completely the way God wants me to live. It is a daily struggle, but we must continue to strive. When I got serious and the Holy Spirit started to really dwell inside me and teach me, that is when I discovered God is able to do more than I was giving Him credit. To trust God is to love God, and you must fall in love with Him to totally trust Him to be everything you need.

Many people are intimidated to walk with God fully because they feel unworthy. Only Jesus can declare us worthy or righteous enough to walk with God, and the more we walk with God the closer we should get to Him. Feeling unworthy is natural because God is so holy that we focus more on who He is rather than who, through Jesus Christ, He has declared us to be. If we are not getting closer to God on a daily basis, we should examine our walk or our relationship with God. Something is wrong if we remain the same and confess we love the Lord.

For years I didn’t know who God really was to me and that He loved me so much. He wants the best for me, and what I needed to do was to trust in Him and surrender my all. God has done, and still is doing, a tremendous work in my life, and I pray that I can be a blessing to someone else through my gifts God has bestowed upon me. Learning how to let God bless me and how to be a blessing to others was a colossal victory in my life. God is awesome, and I am so overwhelmed with His blessings that I had to share them with others. I want others to know that if God did it for me He will do it for you. God is able to do anything, for anybody, at any time, anywhere. Believing this is the key to whatever situation you may be facing. If you will put all of your trust in God and believe His word no matter what is going on, you can get through anything. It feels good to know you have a friend in Jesus and that He’s got your back.
