About the Book

Five years ago, Jack Thompson, a Paramedic in Portland Oregon, was living the simple life he wanted; beautiful wife, healthy son, good job, and a comfortable home.  During an attempted suicide call, his actions set in motion a course of events that would cost him everything.  And through every step of his life’s tragic down spiral, the press was there to portray the horrors, present the ironies, and steal away the simple life he once knew.

With no reason to stay, Jack abandons his home in search of resolution to his miserable life.  A sick girl on the plane and poor planning lands Jack in a relationship with the attractive heir to the English throne, Princess Sara Winslow.  A day after leaving his disastrous past behind, Jack finds his face plastered on the front page of every newspaper, magazine and tabloid in London.

As the media pursue his every move and dig deep into his past, Princess Sara yearns anxiously to be a part of his future.  Terrified and uncertain, Jack finds once again that life is anything but simple.
