Perry is a first generation Hellenic-American who calls Cleveland, Ohio home, for the most part. He went to grade school in a village in Hellas and later finished high school in Cleveland. While studying at Case Western Reserve University, he worked at a restaurant in Cleveland’s Little Italia named La Dolce Vita where his passion for cooking grew and blossomed. Since then, Perry has enjoyed cookin’ and experimenting. While traveling throughout Asia for three years, Perry (the bachelor) used these recipes more than a few occasions to impress and he said it worked, “Very well, indeed!” The only downside he noted was that good ouzo was hard to come by.
