They Flow Like Whispers

About the Book
They flow like whispers through the depths of time,
With a form that suggests a motion in rhyme
They’re from another age and place,
to achieve their goal they now do race
Through timeless mists their tale is lost,
But when they appear fear feels like frost
Born of darkness and of night,
Few true can hold their fearsome sight
Their dark lord is vanquished in tales of old,
Though still they run under moonlight cold
For should they win on the battle field
Despair and pain they will surely wield
And soon will find on the battle plain
The forces arrayed in mail and chain
Our goal of goodness to win the day
To keep the Others at hold and at bay.
And hope still rides on an ancient sword
And on a boy who is carried toward
A destiny that will turn the tide
And let a time of peace abide
