“They” call “Them” Bitches and Whoes

When rapp, one of the many Afro American or Black inventions, was created, it brought about a whole new way and arena for many talented brothers and sisters to express themselves and way of life, particularly, in the hood. There has been a  great deal of talk and even controversy over the explicit language used in this new form of lyrical expression that raises brows, frowns faces and even causes despise  of the lyrical geniuses whom have, worldwide, voiced their opinions or emotions on life as they’ve seen it or experienced it. Some of the terms that are used are those that many others once used or (still) use only in secrecy and have used for a very long time before some rappers arrived on the scene and dared to be so, publicly, blatant. Many and perhaps most or all male rapp artist experienced street-life or observed it everyday as young boys or young men while on the way to and from school or the corner or neighborhood store; from playgrounds; neighborhood parks or from the porch, stoop or windows of their homes. As many or all of them looked on or was amidst the goings on, it wasn’t hard to witness the behavior and activities of girls who were allowed to hang-out. Many of them were, possibly, considered bad girls; fast girls; easy girls or popular girls as some people may consider them to be. It was plain to see the single ladies/girls, over a period of time and in some cases, a short period of time, with different guys (at times, one arriving right after another was leaving); ladies/girls who were seen standing on street corners, strolling through the neighborhood or on a boulevard looking for a male candidate to pick up or so it seems with many of them. Perhaps some of them have even been seen getting in or out of the vehicles of different men. Many young males have also witnessed their single mother,    aunt(s), other female relatives or female friends of relatives behaving in a manner that involved (many) men. Many scenarios of such behavior can be portrayed, all of which plays their part in the conclusion young men come to when they are old enough to form an opinion that, pretty-much, is an accurate description of what they’ve witnessed. Along the way, all or most of these young males at least one time in their few years, have also witnessed what happens when a bitch (canine) is in heat. Dogs come from all directions to get in on the action. The bitch is hot, so she welcomes the males without hesitation. As a young boy, an opinion, most likely, can not be formed, but by the time the young boy becomes a young man and has seen girls, ladies and even women behave in a similar manner, labeling them bitches seems appropriate. Coming from another angle, all up in the clubs, females are “shaking it like a salt shaker”; “dropping it like it’s hot” and most of all, backin’ their asses up on one man after another just like a bitch (canine) in heat. Some may rationalize and say, “unlike a female canine in heat, there is no penetration, just bumpin’ and grinding”. Well not yet, but often times, one of those guys a girl is backin’ it up for, gets lucky before sunrise. Many guys, even the ones that get lucky, have already formed an opinion about a girl(s) when he watches her each time she’s on the dance floor doing with a male what she’s done with another. Although a girl behaving this way is not the girl many of these guys would choose to marry, have their children or just shack with, they will still indulge. True enough, many girls and women behave the way they do (in a sexual manner) because they are desperately in need of love and/or attention, but don’t know how to go about getting it. They go to great lengths to try and get it or just to be noticed. In many ways, a guy tells a girl that she’s not the one for him in the way she wants to be, except verbally, either because he doesn’t want to hurt her or because he can’t resist the opportunity to get from her whatever she has to offer that is of worth to him, even if it’s just good sex. To put it plainly, they will exploit a female even if she behaves like a bitch in a sexual manner. Many females, either, just don’t get the message, they don’t want to get the message or they’re just determined to have something, anything they can, to do with the guy they are (seemingly) obsessed with. However, males are not necessarily referring to a female as a bitch because of sexual behavior. One word comes to the minds of many to describe what they think of a female who says or does something that’s not to their liking that’s considered spiteful and/or unnecessary; a female that frequently has negative remarks; nagging wives, girlfriends or any other female(s); devious, vengeful females; girls with shitty attitudes; stuck-up, nose in the air females. “Bitch”. Canine bitches tend to have attitude, as well.
