Samuel Austin Parsons is enjoying a hiatus from the family ranch which he will soon have to assume the responsibility of running. He finds himself involved in the real estate business in Sonoma County, CA where he gets pleasantly involved with the women he meets. It’s while he was working as a real estate agent that he uncovers some facts which tie three murders together and aids the police in solving the crimes and leads to a deadly confrontation. 


About the Author

The author is eminently qualified to write this novel that draws from his experience in the real estate market in Sonoma County, CA and his research on the early history of Texas, the founding of the Texas Rangers and the development of the Clot revolver.

 

F. Goodwin was born in East Texas in a small community located about a five hour drive from Waco, where the Parsons, the main characters of this tale, have their twenty section ranch. Being a Texan by birth, he demonstrates his keen interest in the period of the Americanization of Texas.

 

The author received his Bachelor’s from the Univ. of Santa Clara and Master’s from the Univ. of San Francisco.
