OBEDIENCE AND HOLINESS

Obedience is believing and doing what God says.  When God created man he created him in the image and likeness of him.  Our spiritual likeness is restored in justification when we received our Lord Jesus Christ for our personal savior.  Our character Likeness is being continuously developed in the process of sanctification. God will not force you to obey him, it is a freedom of choice we have as believers. Some times our kids get out of line, being them selves and we punish them for being disobedience.  Our Heavenly Father discipline the same way.  Parents only see one side, we want our kids to obey us but we can’t obey God’s word.

God is calling for true repentance.  Come now, let us reason together, saith the Lord:  though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword:  for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

God’s mercy and grace, he gives us time after time to repent, this is a invitation to all mankind.  He is there to reason together and forgive all sins.  Our forefather, going back forty and fithy generation those sins have past down to us, these are blood line curses, yes we are dealing with past sins from our forefathers. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is writen, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: The only way you can break a cruse is through Jesus Christ. If you are a unbeliever or disobedient saint, satan have a legal right to attack your body.  Obedience is the key to your salvation.  Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.  Philippians 2:12 Some believe that once you save you always save no matter what. That’s false doctrine.

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us:  and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:  We strive to go to work every day, prepare next vacation, do everything the world offer.  Are you striving to enter that strait (narrow) gate?  It’s about a relationship with the Lord daily, every second you breath we must thank him every day.  Some believers will be saying Lord, Lord, open to us. The book Revelation, one of the seven churches Rev. 3:14-17 The message to the church at Laodicea.  And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot:  I would (wish) thou wert (were) cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew (spit) thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Jesus Christ is talking about a lukewarm saint, not unbelievers he rather for a christian to be cold or hot.  A (cold) christian is someone who receive Jesus Christ, but after that nothing, no relationship with the Lord. A hot christian have a relationship with the Lord.  Relationship means a connection with two people, it’s like a marriage couple sharing their life together.  A lukewarm christian is someone between, he will serve God maybe once aweek, but monday through saturday he serving the devil. God is a jealous God, when you put other things before him you are putting a curse on your Generation.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
