About the Author

The author Elizabeth Rhodes is originally from Johnson County, North Carolina.  She continued her education at Johnson Community College, for nursing.  She also attended Wilson Community College for Data Processing and Atlantic Christian College for Psychology and Sociology.

She is the mother of three biological children and three step children.  She is also the grandmother of nine grand children.  She is married to Willie Rhodes Jr. originally of Jacksonville, North Carolina.

She is the youngest of nine children born to Tessie L. Rhue and Alexander Rhue (deceased).

She began writing at about sixteen years old, keeping a personal journal, of mostly poetry.  Diana Adams, her nursing supervisor encouraged Elizabeth to write professionally with a local newspaper.  Her first published work, Walk of Life is listed with the North Carolina Poets Society.  He touched me will be her first published book with others to follow.
