Do You Know Jesus
Jesus is the Son of God
Messiah to the world
Prince of Peach, His Majesty
He’s God’s own Living Word.
Good Shepherd of God’s precious flock
The King of every king
Intercessor of our lives
To Him the angels sing.
Alpha and Omega
He’s the First and Last my friend
He’s the Quenching Water
The Beginning and the End.
He’s the Radiance of God’s glory
He’s the Victory over sin
He’s the one that’s knocking friend
And waiting to come in.
Jesus is a shield
His words are as a sword
Yes, He is the great “I AM”
He is the LORD or lords.
Jesus is God’s Living Truth
He’s the Everlasting Light
Christ, the Author of our life
All He does is right.
If you know Christ Jesus
Then you know the Father, too
Keep in mind He’s coming back
He’s prepared a place for you.
His Kingdom is Eternity
Where night exists no more
So when you hear Him knocking friend
Open up your door.
The Cross
I’m looking out the window
Of my heart and standing still
My eyes are focused clearly on
The cross upon the hill.
This cross is very rigid
With splinters far and wide
It’s standing tall and empty
Yet, blood has stained the side.
I look upon the cross’s arm
There hangs a crown of thorns
And blowing on the other side
A robe that’s ripped and torn.
There are rusty stakes upon the ground
With some tattered, rotten rope
This cross is very weathered now
Yes, this is the cross of hope.
A tree of death is what I see
Of torture, pain, and strife
Yet, when I look much closer
I see a tree of life.
It is then I see my Jesus
Who had hung upon this tree
The cross it did not kill Him
In fact, it set us free.
I know that Jesus took my place
My sins and blame He bore
Pure innocents that wears my guilt
Yes, it’s me that He died for.
The cross it now stands empty
Yet, the memories loudly cry
REMEMBER JESUS, SON OF GOD
His name we lift up high!

Into Thy Hands is a book of Christ centered poetry that encourages each and every person to seek “first” Jesus Christ instead of as a last resort. These poems truly represent the pure, unconditional love that Jesus Christ has for each of us.
These poems magnify the importance of repentance and forgiveness. Not only to forgive but to seek forgiveness.
The poetry in this book also deals with the message of truth.
We find very difficult times in our lives when we feel that standing on the “complete” truth is the hardest decision t make. In many cases only half truths are told as a result of fear or anger.
John 8 reminds us that if we continue in the Word of Christ, then we are truly disciples and that we will know the truth and the truth will make us free.
About the Author
Lisa Lynn Schielein is very family oriented woman who has served in her
Lisa is a wife and mother of one son. To Lisa, her husband Garry and son,
She has always had a very deep love for Jesus Christ.
Lisa has served as a Sunday school teacher and a camp counselor for children attending church camp.
Lisa reaches out to help those in need. To reach out and give hope and love to children, adults, and the elderly is her priority.
Lisa has written poetry since the age of thirteen. She explains that the words in her poetry are not of her thought, but words that consume her thought.
She encourages individuals to have a close relationship with Jesus Christ and to put all faith and hope in Him.
