Prologue
Today was the perfect day for a wedding. The sun shined brightly through the stained glass windows. The church, filled with the aroma of freshly cut flowers, the arrangements were impeccable. The sanctuary decor transformed the church, elegantly. Placed carefully were the candelabras, producing a calming atmosphere.
Guest arrived early. The invitation specifically stated the wedding will start on time. Mrs. Claudine wanted no moving while her daughter walked down the isle.
The hostesses directed family members to their assigned areas. Seated in the balcony were church members and friends of the bride and groom. The church was filling up quickly. Time was racing by.
Mrs. Belinda and her ex-husband sat proudly at the beginning of the pew. “Uncle Blu” sat next to them. People no one had ever seen before filled the section reserved for Chris.
Dani sent Stephani upstairs to check out the scene. Stephani was back with her report.
“Everybody’s is here. Guess who is out there? You are never going to guess.” Dani was putting the last touches on her makeup.
“I don’t know. You are going to have to follow me to the bathroom, I gotta pee.” Stephani followed her waiting for her to guess.
“It is...Frederick and Chloe! Girl, they are sitting right in the middle isle.”
Dani stopped in her tracks for just a moment. “Good.”
Chloe and Frederick sat closely. She didn’t want others to hear their conversation.
“What are we doing here?” She was angry.
“I came to talk to Dani.”
Anthony made his way to the pew. Mrs. B. was saving him a seat. They both looked around at all the people who came to share this moment. There were men dressed in the same colors in one section of the balcony.
Reverend Booker came by the dressing room to have his last minute counsel. All the women stepped out the room to give them privacy.
Reverend Booker asked Dani was there any last minute questions or concerns she wanted to talk about. If so, she could do so right now.

About the Author
Miss Kim, a recent newlywed, native of Ohio and mother of two. Has always known she was blessed with the gift of writing. Starting at a young age writing love letters for her friends. She continued to hone her craft while in high school.
Securing her own column in the school newspaper, was the dawning of a budding novelist.
Miss Kim found cooking, cosmetology, account representative, and a car plant assembler to be monotonous. Although very grateful for all opportunities, she desired more.
She went back to familiar ground, writing. Alone with her thoughts, she created characters in her mind. Those characters developed into Miss Kim’s first debut novel, Sweatin’.
