remain determined to sound the alarm, and give warning in our time that Jesus

is why I believe God has moved in my spirit to write, Bridge Over Troubled Waters. For here I believe that we can deal with some
of the more perplexing problems in life, and find a bridge to cross from the
problem to the promise.
This
book is my desperate attempt to address the gulf that stands at the crux of all
our problems, and finds its expression in violence and crime, war and famine,
power and lust.
I
am certain that many of the issues in this book will be controversial, and no
doubt raise the ire of those who have invested in traditional perspectives for
understanding the crisis in human affairs.
For that reason I have been careful to support my findings by the Word
of God (2 Timothy
The
thesis of this book is simply this: the gulf that stands between God and man
explains most if not all of the violence and crime plaguing our
communities. Only by understanding the
role of Jesus Christ can we be equipped adequately to deal with those problems,
and erect a bridge to traverse the gap that separates us from God.
