About the Book
Freedom from Bondage is a story about a young woman searching for her identity by engaging in destructive intimate relationships. Although these relationships did nothing for her self-esteem, she continued to search for men that seemed to possess the same domineering and chauvinistic characteristics which served not only as a distraction, but a mask which enabled her to avoid facing her own faults and weaknesses.
Because he was well dressed, looked distinguished, possessed all the right credentials, had a decent job and let’s not forget his calling into the ministry, she thought he had it all together. Oh but she was so wrong. Although he looked the part he didn’t possess the characteristics of a christ-like man, he was merely a wolf in sheep clothing and she was so easily caught up in his web of deception.
Freedom from Bondage illustrates the common mistakes women make when engaging in relationships. It challenges women to explore past relationships in which they identify how the relationship began and ended in order to measure characteristics of commonality. Freedom from Bondage is a powerful resource women can refer to when dating. It talks about the common red flags women ignore, and the weaknesses they possess. These issues more times than none tie women to men with the same brokenness. This novel teaches women how to be single at heart, divorcing past relationships, and striving to be true women of virtue. This is a story of a woman’s journey from a prideful and destructive past to a triumphant and virtuous future.

Ms. Hall walks according to James 1:22-25, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves.” “Do what it says.” “Anyone who listens to the word but does not what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.” “But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it-he will be blessed in what he does.
For over nine years she had looked in the mirror each day walking away and forgetting what she really looked like, but not this time. The Lord removed the blinders from her eyes, and she had the opportunity to really look at herself, and because she hated the person she saw in the mirror, she asked the Lord to Remake her and he answered swiftly. Not only did he remake her but he allowed her to use her own personal experiences to minister to his people through her book entitled Freedom from Bondage.
