“MY TREASURE CHEST”
Contained in My TREASURE CHEST are priceless items, each one brings to mind a special memory,
A ring given from a friend, pearls with a broken clasp; each one very special, I marvel at the wide variety.
Amid the glitter of gold and silver I see many sadly tarnished with age, tears began to spill down my cheek,
I began to realize His lesson for today when deep within I heard My Lord and King gently speak.

“This day is not like yesterday, into your TREASURE CHEST look, open your heart, hear and receive,
The TREASURES in your CHEST will one day be no more, in each one there is My eternal message.”
Each word He spoke touched me in places I had thought were dead, He gently took the veil off my eyes,
I began to see the hand of my Lord in new ways, ever so gently I then heard Him say to me: “Arise.”

Now more aware of what JESUS wanted me to know, I much deeper appreciate His grace given to me,
Until this moment I had not really fully seen His Word to be my personal TREASURE CHEST, now clearer I see.
The deep desires of my heart JESUS knew and He helped me see that each one was right there within my reach,
The forgiveness I needed, the garment of praise to wear, I need the love of GOD that gives me His peace.

Oh the wonders He has revealed hidden in my TREASURE CHEST, My love for Him I can’t contain,
With the eyes of my understanding opened, looking into His dancing eyes, I saw His eternal flame.
His TREASURE is now contained within this vessel of clay, His love never changes, He has made me whole,
To JESUS my Lord and King I consecrate myself, I now truly belong to Him forever: mind, body and soul.
“SPIRITS WEARING EARTH SUITS”
No, this isn’t some new kind of space lingo, for indeed, mans SPIRIT came before the soul,
The first Adam was formed from the dust, GOD gave him life that His praises he extol.
With mans SPIRIT now WEARING an EARTH SUIT, GOD gave man dominion over the land,
GOD purposed for man to be His constant companion, to them He gave a very firm command.

It wasn’t by any accident that mans SPIRIT WEARS AN EARTH SUIT, a deeper Truth today see,
JESUS also wore His EARTH SUIT that made Him visible, this way He began His earthly ministry.
Our parents enjoyed a life of daily personal communion with GOD, but sin caused them to turn away,
Their decision impacted all of mankind forever, GODS words of cautioning they chose to disobey.

We are only temporary residents of this earth, our EARTHLY SUIT we will someday shed,
Our spiritual body shall be revealed in all His glory, once and for all the old man will be dead.
When we stand in that day face to face with our Lord and King, His righteousness we will wear,
The heavens will be filled with joyous praise forevermore, nothing to His presence can ever compare.

“LIVING WATER” offers a cup of cold water in His name to each traveler on their spiritual journey with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In this world we have many sayings born in the mind and heart of mankind, such as: in the still of the night or bright as sunshine. As Jill continues to deliver the heartbeat of eternity, I can only bestow the given title of servant and author upon her. With each new book, we are invited into the new world of growth in Christ and the many experiences she has partaken of and we are truly blessed!
