I was standing in the middle of my bedroom floor. I had been in prayer for a while and was now ending my prayer time in praise and worship unto the Lord. Once I was in God''s presence, He began to speak to me about a new anointing for prayer, a mantle of prayer, a closer walk with Him and a deeper calling. I was then carried in the Spirit to the foot of the cross. This was the first time that I had ever physically felt that I was a part of a vision.
I realized later that I was experiencing an open vision as Ezekiel had in the Valley of Dry Bones. There was a thunderstorm, and as I looked up there was Jesus hanging on the Cross. The rain poured down on His face. He looked down at me and said " I''m doing this for you because I love you." I saw the rain falling on me, as I stood there soaked and wet, but not in the least concerned. I could feel my bare feet standing in the wet cold, hard mud. I was there! Again, suddenly, I was shifted and was standing at the entrance of what seemed to be a cave. I stepped down through the entrance and placed my hands on the cold stone. I was in the Lord''s tomb. There was a slab of stone that was about four feet high, upon which lay a piece of white linen cloth. I picked up the cloth. There, He told me that He was truly dead for three days. His Spirit had returned to His Father. On the third day, the breath of life returned to His lifeless body. He told me that He was the resurrection and this same resurrection life now belongs to me. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I can manifest the works that Christ wrought while on earth and even "greater works". . His life can bring life to anything that is dead, spiritually or physically. He can make something out of nothing.
Then I saw nails in my hands and feet. The Lord told me that more of me must die, so that He can release His glory through me. He said that miracles would flow out of my vessel. Oftentimes, after God gives us new revelation or a visitation such as I have just described, He will bring experiences in our lives to infuse the new found truth into the depths of our being. The goal is that day-by-day we can see the life of Christ manifested in every facet of our lifestyles on practical levels.
