About the Author

ROGER N. TOPPIN, Sr., Author of “The Struggle Never Ends” was born in New York City, New York, on December 31, 1935, I am divorced with three boy children.  I spent most of my adult life in the Borough of the Bronx.  Throughout my lifetime I was always very involved in the social/political process of America.

I ran the gamut from teenage gang President to Political Club president.  I am still involved with empowering the community and preparing our youth for tomorrow’s struggles.

I have designed this book as a blueprint for people who are like-minded and realize that “The Struggle Never Ends” I served four years in the U.S. Navy as a sailor, worked for the Department of Hospitals, as a Hospital Aide, worked for the NYC Housing Authority in the maintenance Department, New York City Police Department, as a Police officer, Served as President of Public School Parent’s Association (160) in the Bronx, worked for the Board of Education, as a School Aide, worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a Mail carrier, I served as President of the African–American Association, of Co-op City which is located in New York City, served as President of Harriet Tubman  Democratic club of Co-op City, located in New York City, I am presently the Publisher / Editor of “Service Plus Newsletter” which is distributed in  Co-op City  and the New York City communities.
