About the Book

Kenneth Kim articulates many of his life experiences through poetry.  A Poet’s Walk is a personal collection of poetry that exposes the concerns, perceptions and struggles he has experienced as a young man in search of his identity and purpose.  This book contains over 80 original poems and a brief autobiography serving as the prologue to his journey.  What distinguishes this book among others is not only can a vast number of young people relate to the matters discussed, but individuals from older generations can also relate to some of the material.  Living through different eras has made a difference on what a person has experienced through his/her adolescence.  A Poet’s Walk has the potential to broaden the understanding of what a young person may experience growing up in the 1990s and into the new millennium.  For peers and younger readers, this collection manifests many of the problems they may have or might encounter.  It provides the light for many to see that they are not alone in this world and realize others have experienced similar situations.  So if you are searching for inspiration, A Poet’s Walk is a great place to start this journey.

About the Author

Currently attending Colorado State University as a First Generation student, Kenneth Kim has become an influential young man.  He has inspired many in his own community and others around the nation.  Striving to touch many hearts through his voice and writing, he has shown his drive to accomplish his dreams.  Although young, he has become an ambitious writer, hoping to make a difference in peoples’ lives by sharing his experiences and of those around him.  His deep and intimate thoughts are presented throughout his writing.  He is a young man inspired by love, driven by dreams, impassioned by compassion, and thrives through hope.  He aspires to instill similar passions to young minds throughout the world.
