About the Book

Hawaii is a beautiful and peaceful land where visitors enjoy the sun and waves and locals raise their families in fair weather and Aloha spirit. Hawaii is also dependent on the United States mainland for fuel, food, business and all other needs. After a devastating attack on America's West coast city of Los Angeles, the feared "dirty bomb", Hawaii is all but shut off from resupply routes. Honolulu's residents deal with almost 1 million people living on an island with little to no food production, no fuel supply and no tourism to drive the economy. Things change fast. Life becomes hard and dangerous at times for one local Honolulu family dealing with the loss of jobs, supplies and security. Only strong American willpower and raw human ingenuity will keep this family together and keep Hawaii from total chaos.

The all too possible vision of living in Hawaii after a major terrorist attack in California isolates the island state. A story of hope and family strength that is a warning call for Hawaii and all of America.
