Components Goals Journal
This is the section which
addresses the Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual components of yourself. The pieces of your life which
need balance. It addresses issues
in detail by asking about your feelings, your barriers and possible solutions.
This journal is to be filled out each morning as you work though the process of
positive change. Read each question and
then write your answers on
a separate sheet of loose-leaf paper. Make a new answer sheet for
each day. The example daily,
answer-sheet format is located directly behind this page.

Family Member Chore Lists:
It is very important to get all
family members involved in helping around the house. It is always easier and faster to make things
happen when everyone is moving in the same direction. Also, studies have shown that by creating
routine and establishing procedures at home, children will increase their
memory power, self respect, and sense of achievement.
Make sure you create a special
place for each child to put his or her school papers when he/she gets home from
school. It gives the children a sense of
responsibility and makes it easier for you to remember that those papers need
to be looked at each day.
Make rules that make sense and
get things done. Example: Rid your life of the chaos which ensues
around dinner time each night by making it everyone’s priority to be home while
dinner is being prepared. Everyone
should have specific chores to handle during that time. For example:
this is actually a great time for kids to do homework, mom to cook
dinner, dad to vacuum. Then sit down and
have a meal together. Talk about your
day. Families need this time to catch up
and communicate with one another. This
is a priority. You all have to
eat....you might as well use the time wisely and eat together and let everyone
know they are important to the family by listening and enjoying the
conversation. Jot down “rules” of your
own, of this nature, that you would like to implement
into your family, on a separate sheet of paper.
