About the Book

“The House At Brushneck Cove” is based on fact combined with fiction. It is a story of mystery, deceit, forbidden love and unintentional murder climaxing in a natural disaster. Why was the old Victorian house boarded up and abandoned? What caused two spinster sisters to become semi-reclusive? What secret did they hide behind the walls of the old house? Why were the two sisters digging a grave-like hole in the root cellar? What did the firemen discover in the old unused water closet?

One sister is strong while the other is vulnerable to the attentions from a man of a race not like her own. Why did the stronger sister vow to shut all men out of her life forever?
