‘From this day forward when the
moon is full you will become a wolf and terrorize all of this land. You will
slink about from shadow to shadow destroying your neighbor’s crops and
livestock. You will awaken each day and remember nothing of the night before.
But, each time you see the fear and hatred in the eyes of your neighbors you
will remember this day.’
She looked at the crowd and said,
‘laughter should be for fun and shared, not for ridicule or taunting.’
Looking at each of the gathered
villagers she said ‘You will fear the shadows of the night and you will try to
destroy the beast, but this will not be possible. Fear and hunger will be part
of your lives. Only a heart that is pure can lift this curse.’

About the Book
The Crystal Heart is a short
story about a young girl having nightmares. The story starts with her
grandfather meeting Leopold and seeing the Crystal Heart. Leopold tells the
story of his granddaughter Olivia. She is a Princess that suffers a curse from
a distraught woman. The curse affects her and the entire land, only the pure of
heart can set them free. The Crystal
Heart is written in a manner that is positive and uplifting. The words used are
not watered down and the concepts will transfer to many situations faced by
children and adults today.
The Crystal Heart is a simple
story written with the understanding that our children and grandchildren are
our mot prized gifts.
About the Author
A
He is married with a son, two daughters and three grandchildren. The Crystal Heart was written when his first grandchild, Olivia, started having nightmares about werewolves. Just as in the story, a crystal heart on pale pink ribbon was given to her to guard against werewolves and monsters.
