About the Book

Riding motorcycles since ’69, a Business Mechanic by trade, and an adventurist by nature, G. M. Pifer has collected these recipes as a light hobby for decades.  Only recipes of the unique and great tasting “personal best” dishes were collected, as they would inevitably disappear over time.

Including the recipes over 1000 years old, most of these are recipes have been relatively unknown to the general public, and really taste excellent!  G. M. Pifer decided that these recipes could be collected and eventually documented in one publication.  This is the “first” book of it’s kind, and G. M. Pifer will likely create a second in the near future.  New tastes seem to benefit us, being in a high stress society.  It’s a great stress release to cook up a new and exciting recipe most have never tasted.

About the Author

Since 1969, and through a great many travels, I’ve collected many unusual and unique tasting recipes, as sort of as a vague hobby.  I did this in the recognition that these “personal best” recipes are endangered of becoming extinct over time, as have so many others.  Every once in awhile, I’ll have the privilege to try out someone’s “signature” personal recipe that those around them will request often simply because it tastes so good.  These recipes do not come from commercial  restaurants and the like, but from good old down to earth people who have taken the time to make something very special.  So here they are, direct from the genuine articles... Bikers, Backwoodsmen, Old Ethnic Families, and others who have made mealtime a “routine busting” adventure in flavor.  These recipes are probably not for the extremely timid or faint of heart, but for those who want a great mealtime change or just some unique recipes that will likely impress those who enjoy great food.

It is my experience that the truth about anything is hard to find in this world.  Everyone has their own opinion about everything.  There’s an old saying that goes like this... “If you want the truth about life, ask the creator, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit... If you want the truth about your dinner, ask the cook.”.   I have found this to be true indeed.

The cook will know what is in your food and why it tastes the way it does.  So, these recipes are direct from the cook, to me, to you.  As for your purpose in life, you’ll have to read the Bible... this is a cook book.

I feel that these recipes will be a lot of fun for anyone who likes to cook.   The recipes I have personally tried have not yet let me down.  I would like to say this, God has allowed us to produce great food and lots of it in this country, and we thank him for the privilege of flavor.  God Bless America and all those who believe Him. “The Truth Keeps Marching On!”, even if it is hard to find amidst all of mankind’s “stuff”.
