About the Author

Born in 1926, Bob Revere grew up on a farm in rural New York State. He joined the Army in World War II and attended Roosevelt University on the G.I. Bill. He later received a Master’s degree from the Asia Institute (NYC) and a Ph.D. from New York University.

Bob Revere’s work experience has ranged from poultry farmer to political science professor.  After the war he put himself through college by working in a trucking company. His later experience included trips to the Middle East as a tour director. After his retirement, he found a new job with the U.S. Navy teaching courses to sailors who were on deployment. His eventful life forms the background to this books of stories.

He has been married to Dr. Virginia L. Revere, they have four children and three grandchildren. They live near Mount Vernon, Virginia.
