About the Book

“I Can’t Imagine” is an exciting adventure about a unique character.  Jezzy is a bumpy blue creature who desperately wants an imagination.  He searches everywhere and meets a winged animal called a banzew.  Together they go to visit the Great Magic Worm.  There is a fun twist at the end of the story and Jezzy’s problem is happily solved.

“I Can’t Imagine” is ideal for children ages 4-7.  Kids love to compare fantasy and reality and the story encourages critical thinking.  Readers will love to discover what is really happening to the main character.  “I Can’t imagine” is lighthearted, fun and a one of a kind story for families to enjoy together.  The drawings compliment the text beautifully and bring the literature to life.  The format of the book makes it perfect for reading aloud to your loved ones or for beginning readers (first grade and up) to enjoy independently.

About the Author

Keri Nitta has been a primary teacher in the public school system for eight years.  She teaches kindergarten in the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District.   Her inspirations come from her students and their endless imagination.  She holds books in high regard and teaches her students to do the same. Her degrees in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, and teaching have enabled her to write with the developmental level of her audience in mind.  Reading and admiring other authors’ works, as well as collecting wonderful children’s books, have given Keri an understanding of what good literature is.

Mrs. Nitta lives in Newcastle, California with her husband, Scott and stepson, Cameron.  The family spends their time-off playing with their two dogs, two goats, two kittens and five chickens.  They also enjoy gardening and picking fruit from their orchard.

Keri is excited to share her first story with the world and has fulfilled a life-long dream by making sure that, “I Can’t Imagine” has its own special space on the shelf of the school library.
