Never
in a million years would I have guessed these would be my assignments. I guess its okay for me to come out now. This is where I’ve been all these years:
tucked away under the wings of a Heavenly Angel. I appreciated the silent years and now the Almighty
God in Heaven wants to bless me because I got all A’s on my report card. Also His Son, Jesus, visited me in my home
early one morning while I was taking a bath.
I dedicate these Wonderful Orders Reaching Destined Statements (WORDS)
to my eagle because he catches me when I fall.
Uumm, the lights are out in this world. It’s so dark here. I didn’t realize Planet Earth was so
dark. Oh Lamb of God, who takes away the
sins of the world, please turn the lights back on so we can see. It’s too dark here! Oh Lamb of God, we promise to live holy and
righteous and obey your word. We love
you and we need you. Can anyone tell me
what’s happened to our world? Before
there was chaos, there was order. Before
there was sickness and disease, there was eternal life. And before there was the Earth, there was and
forever will be the Almighty God in Heaven.
It’s all about God’s timing. And
in these last evil days let’s not panic for a change has to come for the
betterment of mankind. Ralph Waldo
Emerson once said, “If your product is desired by many, the world will make a
beaten path to your doorway.” So I say
madam, what’s your product? Are you
selling honesty or deception? Are you
with us or against us? In one of Pastor Crowne’s sermons one Sunday morning, he stated, “After
today, there’s gonna be some unexplained
phenomena.” I feel I’m involved in some
type of metamorphosis. The Holy Spirit
spoke to me and said every situation and every circumstance that happens in our
lives is pre-destined. Mannnnnnnnnnnn!!
This is deep!! I remember clearly the events that took place in my
life. I have to go back in time to feed
you understanding. By the way, I’m
hungry. I’m always hungry. Let me introduce you to a real-life journey:
It was 1975. I was four years old. My immediate family consisted of momma, my
sister Vedra, daddy and me. Daddy was in the United States Army and his
post of duty was Hawaii. Hawaii was a beautiful place with fresh, clean oceans, miles
of white sand and gorgeous tropical foliage. We lived in an apartment overlooking a
swimming pool. One summer day, momma and
Vedra went shopping and I stayed home with
daddy. While in our apartment, daddy
decided to have lunch. He ate a bologna
sandwich and a Budweiser. I know it was
a Budweiser because now that I am old enough to associate things together, I
remember the beer can was white with red writing on it. Anyway, daddy finished eating lunch and
decided to take me swimming. We went
downstairs to the swimming pool. At
first, daddy had me in the pool with him, but I was so scared I began
crying. I was scared of all that water
and I didn’t know how to swim. I was
crying so loud, daddy sat me on the edge of the pool. A few minutes later, two little Hawaiian
girls swam towards daddy and he took them on his back while he swam in the
water. I remained on the edge of the
pool looking at daddy. It was a sunny
day and there were so many people around the pool and in the water. Maybe about ten to fifteen minutes later, the
same two little Hawaiian girls ran towards me and said daddy wasn’t coming back
up. They said he was lying on his back
at the bottom of the pool and was not moving at all. Then I looked around for daddy. No sign of him. All of a sudden, people seemed alarmed and
began to gather around the pool looking at the bottom of the pool. I knew something was wrong. Then I saw a tall Black woman with long black
hair jump in the pool. She tried to pull
daddy out of the pool but he was too heavy.
She swam back to the surface to call for help. Daddy was about 6’2” tall and weighed about
200 lbs. Daddy was built. Finally, the
tall Black woman plus two Black men pulled daddy from the bottom of the pool. The tall Black woman began CPR on daddy but
it was too late. His spirit was gone to
Heaven and his body laid there lifeless as I stood next to a wall at this time
looking at daddy. Minutes later, I saw
momma and Vedra running down the sidewalk. They saw daddy lying there lifeless and began
to cover their faces with their hands crying huge tears. Momma stretched her hands out for me to come
near her. I did and looked up into her eyes. They were filled with tears.
Pretty soon, a crowd gathered around daddy and covered their faces with their
hands feeling sorrow for momma, Vedra and me. It was total silence and sadness in the air.
I shall remember this day in 1975 for the rest of my life. Soon afterwards, momma, Vedra
and me boarded a plane back to th
