Rubbing the kink from her neck Sabrina couldn’t help thinking that since she had embarked on this odyssey she had become more ensnared in this vision than she ever had at home. There has to be some significance to it; but what?
Sean was seated at the table when she entered the sitting room. “What time is it?” she asked. “It’s nearly three; room service was late and we’re gonna have to leave here just after four.” “I can’t believe I slept this long.” She stretched before sitting down at the table. He acknowledged her with a soft smile. They dined quietly, as Sabrina was still consumed by her thoughts; having slept for nearly two hours, with no vision, no dream; she vanquished all thoughts from her mind.
Things will happen if they are meant to. I’m not going to let that vision haunt me anymore. There is no point in holding on to something that may very well be a product of my vivid imagination.
Sean brought her back to reality when he touched her cheek. “We have to leave soon; you had better get yourself ready to go.” His voice was soft when he spoke to her. He knew her mind had drifted off to some secret place; but to where, and about what he could only imagine.
“Should I change into something a little dressier?” Sabrina asked. “No, it’s not necessary; what you’re wearing is just fine.” He looked over her denim shorts and tank top. Watching her walk away to the bathroom, his eyes were fixated on her form. I can’t remember when I’ve seen a pair of shorts fit a woman as good as those fit her. He exhaled hard, rolled his eyes and shook his head. “Man what that woman does to me, and the things that I want to do to her, oh man. I just have to be patient.”
Warlock’s eyes snapped open. He sat bolt upright on the bed. He had been awakened by an extraordinary feeling, that sense of urgency. That same feeling that had consumed him back in
I must have been dreaming again; dreaming of that woman that bedeviled my most private moment’s time and again. It’s only my imagination. There is no woman like that. Not for me anyway. Face it; I’m going to be alone for the rest of my life. His lecture did little to alleviate the sensation that coursed through his body.
It’s so strong; much stronger than ever before, but how could that be? Am I losing my mind? Have I fixated on this dream for so long now, that it has thoroughly taken control of me; unable to distinguish between fantasy and reality. Get over it. I’ve got two weeks of shows to do; and then there’s the party at Sean’s. Yes, a party, that’s what I need, anything to take my mind off of this damn feeling. He threw his bag over his shoulder and headed for the arena.
Through the dark lenses of his sunglasses, he scanned the faces of all the women he passed in the hallway and the elevator. Nothing. Not one of those faces brought forth any of the feelings that I had when I dreamed. Tying his bag onto the back of his bike, he left the hotel. Feeling the wind on my face will help to clear my mind.
The soul had awakened this body; it had to become aware. The mate was near. The barriers had been weakened; the body will respond to the commands. It will hear us clearer and be more receptive to our voice. The other body is still resistant, the will is strong in that one; but our bond will break that barrier, we will be together once again.
They left the hotel the same way they had entered; the black limo waiting for them in the underground parking. A motorcycle sped past them at the entrance; Sabrina became engulfed by that same feeling.
Damn it it’s just a guy on a motorcycle nothing to get upset about.

Of all of her accomplishments her first love is still that of writing. For her, writing is a very useful diversion from the stressors of being a single parent of a special needs child.
