Here it is!

Sometimes a deeper understanding of life comes through a simple statement.  At other times it appears through the impact of a poignant image.

Here It Is, There It Was, and So It Goes is the ultimate book on life’s truisms accompanied by award-winning black-and-white photography.

Through many stages of my life, I have pondered the depths of the human condition.  The bliss, as well as the struggles, have led me to believe that there are no great secrets that need to be revealed in order for one to experience the beauty, wonder and true meaning of this lifetime.

We breathe and we live.  Life can be as simple as that!

I have come to believe that our truth can be summarized into simple statements about how to operate in this world.  It is also these statements that we can fall back on to give us a deeper meaning into the current situations we are living and growing through.

These truisms are both simplistic and at times powerfully insightful.  Each of the 60 statements is accompanied by a wonderfully expressive photograph which exemplifies each psychological concept.

Mark Hood received his masters degree in psychology from the University of Missouri with specialized training in biofeedback and stress management from the Menninger Clinic.  Within the field of psychology, Mark has worked in psychiatric hospitals, facilitated cancer and depression support group, taught psychology courses at several colleges and produced a weekly television advise segment on mental health through optimism.  He is the author of “Live Before You Die” and “Oh, To Be A Glow-Worm.”  He resides in Kansas with his wife Melissa and their three boys, Aaron, Ryan and Charles.
