About the Book

The Aberdeen Incident sucks the reader into a chaotic world of subterfuge and conspiracy, covert operations and clandestine maneuvering. Unfolding against the backdrop of a war ravaged League of Worlds, the IDF Aberdeen is a fresh ship, manned by a skeleton crew, skippered by a new Captain, sent deep into enemy territory to mount an impossible mission. When a high ranking member of the command cadre suspects that something isn’t right, the stage is set for a showdown that will determine the fate of the human race. Will it be interstellar war? Can one man stand against incredible odds, against his entire crew, to avert a catastrophe? Suspense laden with shocking revelations draw the reader deep into the paranoid world of a man put out to sea, alone, adrift in an ocean of deceit and deception. As each piece of the mystery falls into place, the ramifications of what is at stake become clear – igniting a war that will destroy countless lives, or the forfeiture of everything that is held dear by a noble and courageous soldier of freedom.

About the Author

James V. McKnight considers himself the most over-educated under-achiever he knows. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Sociology, but rather than the life of an academic, he chooses the life of a businessman. As owner/operator of Starstruck Video, the largest independent in the state of Arkansas, he gets to indulge his love of movies as well as his love of storytelling. Nighttime provides the opportunity to write, write and write some more. On any given night of the week, with his wife and stepchildren sleeping, you can find him locked in his office, toiling away on several projects simultaneously.
