Meditations Of A Poetess And Prayer Warrior

The One Love, Jesus

Finding myself seeking the One love,
looking to attain
and acquire His love.
Sometimes possessing this great truth
and desiring wisdom.
Likewise seeking God’s glory
and the vision of His glory everyday.
While trying to heal others
and also be an influence for good
and intellectual pursuits
but forever falling back through an affliction of my mind,
needing to feel freer
and freer
and to break these shackles binding me.
Giving to God my sufferings
and sin
and asking Him to take it
and make me a stronger, more righteous soul.
Seeing all as souls needing the Lord Jesus.
Prayerfully asking God for a deepening relationship with Him.
While certainly desiring perfection,
though yet far from these necessary goals.
Having desire to love God with all of my soul
and likewise my neighbor as myself.
Wondering why this is so hard.
Realizing my Christian Prayer book is the tool for doing
such acts of mercy for
the One love to happen.
A beatific vision in the making.
Glory is being revealed.
Let us hope to be holy.

The Truth Will Prevail

Exploring images and thinking—
who is a deep thinker and who does.
My folks are image makers and thinkers.
And I too like to think and do.
I often think of truth.
What I believe is truth.
My thoughts of truth are often of spirituality.
The best truth I can think of is this fact:
Jesus’ Spirit is the Spirit of prophesy.
I believe the Truth will prevail.
We must learn to get the Holy Spirit of self control
and other fruits and giftedness of Himself.
We must learn to be filled up of the Holy Spirit and God’s anointing
where His Presence and His Spirit are felt and sensed.
