Life is filled with challenges and God knows our beginning from our end.  He is the first and He is the last.  God is very concerned with what we are going through. He allows us to go through situations that His glory would be revealed.

My husband and I found out very early in our marriage that only God can bring us out of every circumstance we may be faced with.  We also knew that we were going to be tested in our marriage because of the ministry God has called us to.  We understood that God would not put more on us than we can bear.

“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.”

(Proverb 3 v 5)

I feel compelled to share with you my experience of having a name tag of being barren place upon me, having two miscarriages and to share with you in this book the ups and downs of caring for a sick child.

It was beyond my wildest dreams that I would ever have a child that was sick and have to deal with the strain and pressure of this.

Countless hours spent at the hospital indicated the love a mother has for a child.  Even though some days I got weak.  I remained focused.

The Bible states: your children will be as olive plants and your wife as a fruitful vine.

You need to realize that some situations in your life come to get you in position if you are not already there.  This time is known by so many as your “testing period” a time when only God can help you and the only one you can direct your prayer to.  I came to the realization that I must go through and there was no other way of getting around it.

During testing time, faith plays an important factor when you are in your wilderness experience.  This is the key that will bring you out.  “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Prayer, fasting and reading the word of God sustain you.

I strongly believe that any man; woman, boy or girl can take God’s word and change their circumstances through faith and prayer.

The devil uses people to play a vital role when you are going through.

They may not realize it, but you are pushed to where God wants you to be

when you are criticized or talked about by them.

During the time of my daughter’s illness, I was not able to understand

Why people rejoiced and talked about you when you are in your situation. Today I understand.

It is my prayer that this true story about the life of my daughter, Faye,

will be an encouragement to many.  That it will help you to soar to a new

1evel in God, as you abandon the seat of complaining and complacency.
