Tires: Affection.
Your
car rides on tires and is going nowhere without them. Your relationship with
your woman rides on affection. You don’t leave the tires off your car and just
put them on when you want to go
somewhere. They are always on and ready to roll. Similarly, affection should
always be a part of time spent with the lady in your life. Hugs, gentle pats on
the back, an arm around her shoulder, a little kiss on her forehead, holding
hands, and saying "I love you" are signs of affection which should be
sprinkled liberally throughout the week, using at least one a day. (You may
think telling her you love her once, at the beginning of the relationship or
marriage, settles that issue from then
on. But you can’t fill your car’s tires just once, and count on them to never
go flat, and a smart man knows to tell his woman often that he loves her,
before their relationship goes flat.)
As
with the necessity to rotate and balance your car's tires, it is also necessary
sometimes to vary the routine with your woman. Before the usual goodbye peck on
the cheek one morning, try holding her shoulders, looking into her eyes,
pausing dramatically and telling her you love her! And any time the ride seems
bumpy in your relationship, remember to air up the affection.

About the Book
This book is a guide, similar to a car maintenance manual, on how to keep the woman in your life pleased, and your relationship running smoothly. No matter the make or model, or the length of time you drive a car, it will always need some basic regular maintenance to perform well. No matter if you and your woman are dating each other exclusively, have moved in together, or have married, the basic concepts included here should help in every stage of being together. It will help to answer the universal male cry, “What do women want?!?” And it should apply to most women. There are always some cars that are higher maintenance than others.
About the Author
M. Tibbets is a writer, reader, wife, mother, and part-time receptionist. All of these occupations involve relationship skills and the study of getting along with others, hopefully to everyone’s satisfaction. She has especially applied herself in the last several years of her life to understanding and getting along with males, such as boyfriends, husband, son, and friends. She began to wonder if men also applied themselves as earnestly to understanding and getting along with females, especially in a “couples” relationship. She knew it would be to the mutual benefit of all, but she didn’t see much evidence of it.
Having always had a great desire to help people, she decided, based on her life experience and study, to write a helpful guide for males considering relationships with women. She wanted to write it in a form that would be familiar and comfortable for men, so she chose to style it after an automobile maintenance manual.
