THE TRIANGLE
The lines are taut
The sails are peaked
The bow is racing
Would that storm reach?
Would this vessel be another beached?
Into the Devil's mouth.
The Triangles like a formidable wall
That beckons ships from Ports o' Call
And sends them plunging with no recall
Into a watery grave.
Since time began the barrier stood
Between
Driving ships down to their knees
With no apparent order.
A strong foe this, that's decided
Whom of us shall be the finder
Though many try and return alone...
Many more will never be home.
THE MAIN INGREDIENT
Does it ever seem pointless, the work you do?
You strive all day for a dollar or two,
And leave your job when the day is through,
With your mind feeling null and void.
Or maybe you want to change the world
With a brand new idea, an answer unfurled...
To build a new stage for life to twirl
And place you front and center.
Well it is possible to be happy in life
To start each day without care or strife
If you hone your desires as sharp as a knife...
And follow through with pride.
