About the Book

Poems in this book fuel and boil a well of familiar human conditions with a unique insight on survival.  Tactics involved philosphize and explore a variety of emotions.  The emotions range from a dark abyss of grief to spiritual unity with God.  In between humor and tears entertain self-esteem, to bring it to a balance.  The book is worth reading and valuable for a journey of positive self-discovery.  According to the Author

“Life is a song.

If you listen long

enough, you’ll hear

Your own melody, loud’n clear”

About the Author

Mats’eliso Matseletsele was born and raised in Lesotho, Southern Africa. Poetry skills are part of her upbringing. Many in the Mountain Kingdom are gifted with the unique skill of making up a song in an instant. It is a way to rise to the occasion of life, given by passed legends of faith and founders of the small African nation.  Many Basotho Poets cite poetry in their native tongue to praise their ancestry. According to the author she recognized her poetic skills as she repeatedly bragged about her ancestry. It was always commented, “You should write and publish.” The comment meant nothing until a fateful near death encounter. Not hers; someone else’s. This is her first book. There’ll be more in the future. The goal is to build an up-to-date hospital in Lesotho by the year 2020.

Mats’eliso’s Poetic accomplishments include: Four times nominated for International Poet of the year, Three times, Winner of Editor’s Choice Awards with the International Library of poetry, two times International Poet of merit award winner in 2002, and featured in several “Letters From the Soul” series anthologies by the International Library of poetry. The Noble House Publishing in U.K, also features her in their anthology, “Theatre of the mind.”
